Yogyakarta International Videowork Festival YIVF#07 Mash Up Video – Open Video 5 – 21 DECEMBER 2011

HONF proudly present YIVF#07 Yogyakarta International Videowork Festival Mash Up Video – Open Video, and The 7th edition of the YIVF is open for 2011 video art entries for this year’s festival. YIVF#07 will take place within the period 5 – 21 December 2011 in Yogyakarta, Indonesia

The events held during YIVF #07 Mash Up Video – Open Video will include a series of evening video art projections in public spaces in Yogyakarta, such as Jogja Expo Centre, HONF Open Gallery, and other. In parallel with the video art screenings of YIVF#07 Mash Up Video-Open Video, exhibitions, discussions, and workshops concerning video and contemporary art topics led by established local and international art professionals followed by a Mash Up Party Tour along Java cities such as Jakarta and Bandung.

The decisions about the selection of the videos will be made by HONF team. All the applicants, can send their art work to the contact below. The final results will be announced and sent to the applicants by e-mail by the middle of December. HONF will make representative selection of 10 video art works, which will be presented further to the festival, screening and exhibition.
