WYST; WHAT’S YOUR STORY TODAY
WYST (What’s Your Story Of Today) is an art laboratory project focused on sounds and other medium related to sounds. This laboratory facilitates any experiments for artists to do experiment and explorations beyond what they already did daily. The proccess can be started by each artist’s narations or stories about what moved them in co-relation of the environtmental developments, today. The stories or narations can be the triggers of the whole artists (and their artistics) processes. The next step is how the artists can interpret the stories into sounds (and its media related) and how they responded to the other persons, based on their daily activities.
WYST aimed to:
– Innitiate a curatorial forum and discussions on sound based artwork
– Distributes sound based artworks and wider public knowledge sharing
– Facilitate professional sound engineering (recording, mixing and mastering) beyond its boundaries
– Convert artistic activities into valuable commodities (i.e: merchandises, cd sales etc)
