It presents information drawn and mapping from morphologic and clinical laboratory studies with direct relevance to the understanding of human diseases and the death of human body

Despite successive advances in the humanities, in science and engineering, humankind has reached an impasse. In East and West alike, societies veer awkwardly to an authoritarian nationalism once deemed a relic of the past. Energy and natural resources are squandered on an inequitable economic system, leaving millions hungry, whilst global warming threatens ecological collapse.

Since the mid-20th century, influential thinkers have critiqued the excesses of rational modernity, and the relativism of post-modernity respectively. In more recent times, a globally networked culture has eclipsed our earlier notions of society. As a result of this global society, an abundance of knowledge based resources has reshaped our idea of what is permissible, and more importantly, what is possible.Given these unique circumstances, we must now challenge ourselves to understand what it means to be alive in an age of contradictions.

Join us at Transformaking 2017: ALIVE as we trace the precarious path ahead through the lens of optimism. We ask vital questions on how new knowledge can be used to empower people in an otherwise exclusive system. On science, technology and innovation, we ask if is it possible to avert catastrophe through rational means alone. On society, we ask how to reconcile individual needs within the local and global collective. Finally, throughout all of this, we explore the significant role matters of dignity and personhood must play in critical dialogues in innovation.

Migration Identity

An Astronomical Experience, Seeking for Interstellar Migration

Java’s great prophet Jayabaya has been compared to Nostradamus in the Western world, he lived 400 years before Nostradamus and a Hindu king in Java whose importance in the history of the archipelago now known as Indonesia, and well known for his prophecies, particularly regarding the future of Java. Jayabaya at his prophecies often ask people look up at the sky and see the sign from space.

The study of astronomy often is arguable as the first science. People have to make sense of what they saw in the sky and feel on earth, and use it to make sense of the rest of the world. They studied the movement of celestial objects, the changing of earth, to help them keep time, determined the principles of leadership and community, navigating and planting, moving and migrating and to predict and explain terrestrial events.

Nowadays astronomy plays an important role in daily life and the most important reasons to study astronomy is that astronomy seeks to satisfy our fundamental curiosity about the world we live in and how was the universe created? Where we come from? Are there any intelligent life forms?

Astronomy constantly reminds people of two seemingly contradictory things, First the universe is infinite and we are of but the tiniest fraction of importance. And second that life is rare and precious. A home as beautiful and unique as earth does not come often. We must protect it.

About The Work

The works will make a preposition of using today’s technology for diy astronomy. Using the concept of biomimetic nano-antenna arrays: designing sub-wavelength angle-sensing detectors at optical wavelengths to create an astronomical experience in navigation and migration.

Biologically-inspired coupled antenna arrays that mimic the hyperacute sense of directional hearing of certain insect species have recently been reported and several prototypes of such antennas have been experimentally characterized at microwave frequencies. The concept of a two-element biomimetic antenna array is extended to optical frequencies and a new design for a two-element nano-antenna array that can act as a sub-wavelength angle-sensing optical detector is presented. The main feature of the proposed sub-wavelength detector is that it can be used to perform angle sensing without the need to perform coherent measurements at optical frequencies. This is particularly important at infrared and optical frequencies where conducting phase coherent measurement is challenging. The principles of operation of the new nano-antenna array along with the design and simulation results of a prototype are present as an astronomical experience to human to determine their migration and navigation. And seeking for the possibilities of interstellar migration.

C6H1206+O2: Azolla & Anabaena

C6H1206+O2 is an innovative work using an unique photosynthesis from Azolla, a water fern and Anabaena (Cyanobacteria). They both formed unseparable marriages or symbiotic associations to each other in a quantum biology. Divorce is practically non exist, and separations may result for their death.

They are the pioneers of the planet earth, it was the cyanobacteria who first evolved to gain energy from to sun about 2,5 – 3,5 billions years ago. Life back then tapped quantum engtanglement as a process to capture the energy and information of the sun.

C6H1206+O2, aim to create an alternative solution for a sustainable circular economy. By using the combination between arts, science and technology to exploring the potentialities of unique symbiotic relation between azolla and anabaena, their photosynthesis process able to produce biofertilizer, biopolymer, water purifier, microbial fuel cell, livestock feed and reducing man- made climate change.

C6H12O6 + O2 for 22nd IFVA Festival

Proud to announce that the C6H12O6 + O2 Project by Irene Agrivina won the Silver Award on Media Art category at 22nd IFVA Festival, Hongkong.

C6H12O6+O2 uses the symbiotic relation between Azolla, a unique water fern, and Anabaena (Cyanobacteria). Cyanobacteria is the only species that can perform oxygen-generating photosynthesis and nitrogen fixation. The photosynthesis of Azolla and Anabaena generates useful products like biofertiliser. In the process, Azolla reduces the amount of carbon dioxide in atmosphere, helping to alleviate the threat of climate change.

Sunday Sharing Spirit

Sharing Spirit was a session of meeting with disable community that been visited us on Sunday, January 29th at HONFablab.
We had old and new friends visited our Honfablab and talking about future collaboration for hacking disability using our machines. Some of them are our ex students at Yakkum Rehabilitation Centre, they grew up become strong independent man and woman. So proud of them!

Disability aids are been impressively innovated and manufactured and available in the market globally. Either in Indonesia or anywhere in the world, by orthopedic clinics or orthopedic industries. Although, many disability and mobility aids solutions are available, it would be another story if you can’t afford to buy it!

The unfortunate condition may lead and forces most of them to alternatively seek and wait for help. With the same needs and same rights to have access on disability aids, They seek the opportunity to elevate their luck by founding a community network to distribute any communication, news, or any medical help distributions. The spirit to have self effort and help among the member of the community inspires both of them and us to have future work and collaboration on “Hacking Disabilities”.

ISSS Alongside NASA “A Human Adventure”

ISSS (Indonesia Space Science Society) presented by Venzha Christ and v.u.f.o.c team, get a chance to exhibit along with NASA “A Human Adventure” Exhibition in Art Science Museum, Marina Bay Sand, Singapore.

Working with artists, scientists, astronomers and engineers in Indonesia, Venzha established Indonesia Space Science Society as a framework for the exploration of space from a different perspective. Whilst lacking the means that large space agencies such as NASA have, the Indonesia Space Science Society provides us with a compelling encounter with space nonetheless.

The art installation at ArtScience Museum results from the science of radio astronomy. The installation presents radio waves from space, sent and collected through self-made radio antennas gathering precise data from astronomical objects in space. The transmitted signals received from the planets and stars are then visually displayed and decoded into audible sounds which constitute the soundscape present in this gallery. Radio waves, together with light waves, have changed the way we view the Universe and dramatically increased our knowledge of it.

The Indonesia Space Science Society shows us that that space is a continuous source of inspiration that compels practitioners from all fields to understand the universe we are within, using both tools and ideas of science, and those of art.
